Craigslist is one of the best known online classified sites, and it is a highly effective way to promote a product or service locally. Most people simply post text ads. What many don’t know is that it isn’t really all that difficult to create very nice image based ads that include graphics, photographs or both!
I’ll talk about the many ways that Craigslist marketing can benefit local businesses in a future post, but as you might imagine, the click through rate on image based ads is much better than text based ads.
